This policy explains what information The Provost Lab collects through this website, provostlab.com, and how that information is used. The website is operated by 33 Summerlin, LLC (“we” or “us”).

This policy covers the public website only. Information that institutions provide within the Provost Lab platform is governed by the agreement between 33 Summerlin, LLC and each institution, including any data processing agreement.

Information we collect

When you request a demonstration, we collect the information you enter in the form: your name, institutional email address, institution, and, if you choose to provide them, your role, the decision area you are interested in, and any notes. If you email us directly, we receive the information included in your message.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This information is used to operate and secure the site.

Analytics and cookies

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrive at the site. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track visitors across other websites. This website does not set cookies.

How we use information

We use the information you submit to respond to your request, provide access to the demonstration environment, schedule a walkthrough, and follow up with you about Provost Lab. We may also use aggregated, non-identifying information about site usage to improve the website.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other organizations for their marketing purposes.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the website: our hosting and form-processing provider (Netlify), our analytics provider (Plausible Analytics), our email provider, and Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces used on this site and receives your IP address when a page loads. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.

Retention

We keep demonstration requests and related correspondence for as long as they are needed to respond to you and to maintain a record of our communications, unless you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted through this website, or to stop contacting you, by writing to info@theprovostlab.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we receive. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for higher education professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page.
